Beneficiary Eligibility Of PM AWAS

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Applicant should be 18 years or older
• Should not own a pucca (permanent) house anywhere in India
• Must belong to one of the income groups:
  • EWS: up to ₹3 lakh/year
  • LIG: ₹3–6 lakh/year
  • MIG-I: ₹6–12 lakh/year
  • MIG-II: ₹12–18 lakh/year
• Family includes husband, wife, and unmarried children only
• Should not have availed benefits from any other housing scheme
• Aadhaar card is mandatory for verification
• Women ownership/co-ownership is preferred or mandatory (especially in PMAY-G)
• For rural (PMAY-G):
  • Selection based on SECC 2011 data
  • Must have land to build the house
• For urban (PMAY-U):
  • Must lack proper housing in urban areas
• Eligible for interest subsidy under CLSS (if taking a home loan)

Steps to download the PM AWAS State-wise List 2026

1. Visit the official PMAY website (pmayg.nic.in for rural or pmaymis.gov.in for urban)
2. On the homepage, go to the “Reports” section
3. Click on “Beneficiary Details for Verification” or similar option
4. Select your State, District, Block, and Village/City
5. Enter the required details like Financial Year (2026) and scheme name
6. Click on the “Submit” button
7. The state-wise beneficiary list will appear on the screen
8. Check your name in the list
9. Click on Download/Print to save the list as PDF
